Code of Conduct
Effective May 2026
A short, enforceable standard for how we expect people to show up when working with Gatkul Apps and the institutions we serve.
Purpose
Gatkul Apps serves institutions, educators, operators, and families. This code sets expectations for how we interact — in support channels, onboarding, demos, and public forums — so everyone can work productively and safely.
Respect & professionalism
Treat others with courtesy. Harassment, discrimination, threats, or abusive language directed at our team, your peers, or third parties will not be tolerated. Disagreement is fine; personal attacks are not.
Honest representation
Do not misrepresent your role, institution, or authorization when requesting access to workspaces or sensitive information. We verify institutional contacts during onboarding to protect tenant data.
Responsible use of systems
Use Gatkul products only for lawful institutional purposes. Attempting to bypass access controls, probe infrastructure without authorization, or exfiltrate data from workspaces you do not own violates this code and may result in account suspension.
Reporting concerns
If you witness conduct that violates this code — from a Gatkul team member or another customer — report it to hello@gatkul.app with relevant context. We review reports confidentially and take appropriate action.
Consequences
Violations may lead to restricted access, termination of service, or referral to appropriate authorities where required by law. Institutions remain responsible for conduct of users they provision inside their workspace.
